In 1953, Valley Manufacturing acquired the patent for the center pivot irrigation system. It was during this time that Daugherty realized the need for a lighter, higher quality pipe, leading to the establishment of Valmont Tubing and its steel pipe and tubing operations. Originally focused on providing solutions for irrigation, Valmont Tubing has since expanded its reach to serve a wide range of industries. Today, in addition to the agricultural sector, we support diverse markets such as transportation, pneumatic, exhaust, construction, structural, and many other industrial applications.

Valmont Tubing is a leading producer of welded steel tubing, serving diverse markets including agriculture, industrial, and pneumatic applications. Our tubing is utilized in equipment such as grain handling systems, air compressors, conveyors, and water heaters. Ag Machinery

Produces round, square, rectangular, and custom-shaped steel tubing used in agricultural equipment like grain spouting, augers, tractors, and combines. Available in hot rolled and galvanized finishes, Valmont’s broad range of wall thickness capabilities and frequent production cycles offer manufacturers flexibility to meet evolving customer needs.

Pneumatic Tubing

A leading producer of electric resistance welded (ERW) steel tubing for pneumatic applications. Available in hot rolled, pickled and oiled, cold rolled, aluminized, and galvanized finishes, with chemistries including AKDQ, EDDS, and standard carbon steel (1008 to 1021).

Grain Handling

North America’s premier producer of large OD, light wall steel tubing for grain handling equipment. With the ability to produce tubing up to 16" round in both long and cut-to-length sizes, plus frequent rolling cycles, we offer flexibility for manufacturers and distributors in agriculture. Available in hot rolled, pregalvanized, galvanized and zinc-aluminum-magnesium finishes.

Industrial Tubing

Produces welded steel tubing for a wide range of industrial applications, including air preheaters, conveyor rollers, air compressors, steel tanks, water heaters, and more. With frequent roll cycles, low minimum orders, and the ability to meet strict requirements, we offer exceptional flexibility.

Transportation

We specialize in high-quality ERW steel tubing, perfect for a wide range of transportation applications including exhaust tubing and trailer manufacturing. Our tubing is produced in a variety of finishes, including hot rolled, pickled and oiled, cold rolled, aluminized, and galvanized to meet customer’s demands of both performance and durability.
